The Finse winter school in cybersecurity is an important event for Nowegian researchers and PhD candidates. It is organized this year by Pr. Audun Josang (UiO) with a great program in a fantastic place in Norway - Finse. This place can only reached by train (between Bergen and Oslo). You have probably seen this place during your life, many sequences from the Star wars movie (Return of the Jedi) have been shooted at Finse.

The winter school proposed many high level lectures in cryptography, digital identity, biometrics, cyber warfare, cyber threat intelligence from mainly Nowegian researchers. Many members from the IRN AI & Cyber network were present such as Gencer Erdogran (SINTEF), Patrick Bours (NTNU), Audun Josang (UiO). This week was really great !

Emmanuel Giguet and Christophe Rosenberger made a lecture on digital forensics. Christophe focused on multimedia analysis and Emmanuel on text forensics. A challenge in digital forensics using the Autopsy software have also been organized during an evening session on Wednesday.
