The France-Malaysia Collaboration Programme for Joint Research 2024 (MyTIGER) - "Keystroke profiling"

Profiling internet users is a major issue in IT as it can be used in many applications (protecting children, security of payment, targeted advertisement…). Keystroke dynamics measures the rhythm a person exhibits while typing on a keyboard, this information can be captured by a browser (8% of websites collect this biometric data). The objective of this project is to build a profiling signature of an internet user (age, gender, emotion, handedness…) for cybersecurity applications.

We intend to consider different use cases:

Identity verification,

Profile verification for children protection on Internet,

Authorship attribution.
